4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Charging the Headset

The built-in battery is rechargeable. Use the included micro USB cable to charge the headset by connecting it to a USB port of your computer, power bank, or an AC adapter (requires 5VDC). The red LED light will stay on during charging and turn off once fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

4.2 Power On/Off

• Power On: When the headset is off, press and hold the Multi-Function (MF) button for about 3 seconds until you hear a 'beep' and the blue light stays on.
• Power Off: When the headset is on, press and hold the MF button for about 6 seconds until you hear a 'beep' and the red light flashes, then goes off.

4.3 Pairing & Connection

To connect your JBT800 headset to a Bluetooth-enabled device:

1. Ensure the headset is off. Press and hold the MF button for about 5 seconds until the blue and red lights blink alternately. This indicates the headset is in pairing mode.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth function of your device (phone, computer, tablet) and search for available devices.
3. Select 'JBT800' from the list. The headset will connect automatically.
4. If prompted, enter the password or PIN '0000'. If pairing is not successful within 2 minutes, repeat the steps.

4.4 Wearing the Headset

The JBT800 is designed for versatile wear. The microphone boom can rotate 300°, allowing you to wear the headset on either your left or right ear. Adjust the headband for a comfortable and secure fit.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Button Functions

• Multi-Function (MF) Button: Used for power on/off, pairing, answering/ending calls, and activating voice commands.
• Volume Up / Next Track (+): Press briefly to increase volume. Press and hold for 1-2 seconds to skip to the next track.
• Volume Down / Previous Track (-): Press briefly to decrease volume. Press and hold for 1-2 seconds to go to the previous track.

5.2 Call Handling

• Answer/End Call: Press the MF button once.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the MF button for 2-3 seconds.
• Redial Last Outgoing Call: Double-tap the MF button.

5.3 Voice Command

While the headset is in standby status, press the MF button for 1 second to activate your device's voice command functions (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant).

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Conambo JBT800 headset, please follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Avoid exposing the headset to moisture, extreme heat, cold, humidity, or other adverse conditions.
• Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth or a damp chamois leather. Do not use solvents.
• Keep the headset, accessories, and packaging parts out of reach of children to prevent accidents and choking hazards.
• Do not drop, crush, bend, or apply excessive force to the device.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your JBT800 headset, refer to the following common solutions:

• Volume is not loud: Ensure the volume on both the headset and your connected device is turned all the way up. Press and hold the volume up '+' button for 1-2 seconds to adjust.
• Headset automatically turns off: The JBT800 will automatically turn off if not connected to a Bluetooth device within 10 minutes, or if your phone's Bluetooth is disconnected.
• Compatibility: This headset is not compatible with Panasonic/landline phones or Windows 7/XP operating systems.
• Charging Issues: Overvoltage may damage the battery. Please use a 5V charger only.
• Poor Sound Quality/Bluetooth Connection on Laptops: This can occur if hardware and Bluetooth drivers are not updated. Try updating your sound card and Bluetooth drivers to the latest version.
