Operating Instructions

Your Beko EFE6030W Air Cooler can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the provided remote control.

Control Panel and Remote Control Functions:

  • Power Button (): Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
  • Speed Button: Cycles through 3 fan speeds: Low, Medium, and High.
  • Mode Button: Selects between different operating modes: Normal, Natural, and Sleep.
  • Oscillation Button (OSC.): Activates or deactivates the automatic oscillation function, which swings the air outlet louvers to distribute air more widely.
  • Timer Button: Sets the operating timer from 1 to 15 hours. The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.

  • Cool Button (COOL): Activates the cooling function, which uses water and ice to lower the air temperature.

Modes of Operation:

  • Normal Mode: Provides a constant airflow at the selected speed.
  • Natural Mode: Simulates a natural breeze by varying the fan speed intermittently.
  • Sleep Mode: Operates at a lower, quieter fan speed, ideal for use during sleep. The fan speed may gradually decrease over time in this mode.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air cooler. Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance.

  • Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents, as these may damage the finish.
  • Cleaning the Water Tank: The water tank should be drained and cleaned regularly (e.g., weekly) to prevent the buildup of mold, mildew, and mineral deposits. Remove the tank, empty any remaining water, and clean with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly before refilling.
  • Cleaning the Filter: The bio-chemical cotton filter should be cleaned periodically, depending on usage and air quality. Refer to the specific instructions in your manual for removing and cleaning the filter. Typically, filters can be rinsed under running water and allowed to air dry completely before reinstallation.
  • Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and the filter is dry. Store the unit in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
