- Placement: Place the unit on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow.
- Fill Water Tank: Pull out the water tank from the rear of the unit. Fill the 8-liter tank with clean, cold water. For enhanced cooling, you may add ice packs or ice cubes to the water tank. Do not overfill. Securely close and reinsert the water tank.

Operating Instructions
Your Beko EFE6030W Air Cooler can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the provided remote control.
Control Panel and Remote Control Functions:
- Power Button (): Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
- Speed Button: Cycles through 3 fan speeds: Low, Medium, and High.
- Mode Button: Selects between different operating modes: Normal, Natural, and Sleep.
- Oscillation Button (OSC.): Activates or deactivates the automatic oscillation function, which swings the air outlet louvers to distribute air more widely.
- Timer Button: Sets the operating timer from 1 to 15 hours. The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.
- Ionizer Button (ION): Activates or deactivates the ionizer function. The ionizer generates negative ions to help reduce dust in the air and restore electrostatic balance.
- Cool Button (COOL): Activates the cooling function, which uses water and ice to lower the air temperature.
Modes of Operation:
- Normal Mode: Provides a constant airflow at the selected speed.
- Natural Mode: Simulates a natural breeze by varying the fan speed intermittently.
- Sleep Mode: Operates at a lower, quieter fan speed, ideal for use during sleep. The fan speed may gradually decrease over time in this mode.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air cooler. Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance.
- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents, as these may damage the finish.
- Cleaning the Water Tank: The water tank should be drained and cleaned regularly (e.g., weekly) to prevent the buildup of mold, mildew, and mineral deposits. Remove the tank, empty any remaining water, and clean with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly before refilling.
- Cleaning the Filter: The bio-chemical cotton filter should be cleaned periodically, depending on usage and air quality. Refer to the specific instructions in your manual for removing and cleaning the filter. Typically, filters can be rinsed under running water and allowed to air dry completely before reinstallation.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and the filter is dry. Store the unit in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your air cooler, refer to the following table for common problems and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not turn on | No power supply; Power cord not properly plugged in; Power button not pressed. | Check if the unit is plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the power cord is securely connected. Press the power button. |
| No cooling effect | Water tank is empty; Filter is dirty; Room temperature is too high for evaporative cooling. | Fill the water tank with cold water and ice packs. Clean the bio-chemical filter. Note that air coolers provide evaporative cooling, which is less powerful than air conditioning. |
| Weak airflow | Air inlets/outlets are blocked; Filter is dirty; Fan speed is set too low. | Ensure no obstructions are blocking the air vents. Clean the bio-chemical filter. Increase the fan speed setting. |
| Unusual noise | Unit is not on a level surface; Internal component loose; Water pump issue. | Place the unit on a stable, level surface. If noise persists, unplug the unit and contact customer support. |
