1. Product Overview

The IKTCH 36 Inch Under Cabinet Range Hood (Model IKC01-36) is designed to efficiently remove smoke and cooking odors from your kitchen. 2. Product Components

Before beginning installation, ensure all components are present and undamaged. The following items are included with your IKTCH Range Hood:

3. Installation Guide

Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your range hood. It is recommended to have two people for installation due to the unit's weight.

1. Prepare the Cabinet: Ensure the cabinet space is clear and ready for the range hood. The recommended distance from the stove top to the range hood is between 27 to 30 inches.
2. Mark Screw Hole Locations: Place the range hood into the cabinet opening and mark the four screw hole locations on the underside of the cabinet.
3. Install Expansion Bolts: Nail the four expansion bolts into the marked locations in the cabinet.
4. Secure the Range Hood: Lift the range hood back into position and tighten the screws to secure it firmly to the cabinet.
5. Install Vent Adapter: Attach the vent adapter to the top of the range hood.
6. Connect Ductwork: Extend the ventilation duct from the vent adapter to the outside of your home. Ensure all connections are sealed properly.
7. Plug in Power Cord: Connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet.
8. Install Baffle Filters: Insert the stainless steel baffle filters into the designated slots on the underside of the range hood.

4. Operating Instructions

Your IKTCH Range Hood offers both gesture sensing and touch control for convenient operation.

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button on the touch control panel to turn the unit on or off.

4.2 Fan Speed Control

The range hood features 4 fan speed settings. You can adjust the speed using either the touch control panel or the gesture sensing function.

• Touch Control: Press the fan speed buttons on the panel to cycle through the 4 speeds.
• Gesture Sensing: Wave your hand across the gesture sensing area (located on the right side of the control panel) to increase or decrease the fan speed. Ensure your hand passes both sensing points for the gesture to register.

4.3 Lighting Control

The range hood is equipped with 2 LED lamps to illuminate your cooking area. Press the light button on the touch control panel to turn the lights on or off. The lights also feature adjustable intensity settings.

4.4 Delay Off Timer

Utilize the delay off timer function to allow the range hood to continue operating for a set period after cooking, ensuring all odors are cleared. The timer can be set for 1 to 15 minutes.
