1. Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully remove the PC case from its packaging. Inspect the case for any signs of damage during transit. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage.

3. Motherboard Installation

  1. Identify the correct standoffs for your motherboard form factor (E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX).
  2. Install any necessary additional standoffs into the motherboard tray.
  3. Carefully place your motherboard onto the standoffs, aligning the screw holes.
  4. Secure the motherboard with the provided screws.

4. Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation

The PSU mounts at the bottom rear of the case. Slide the PSU into its designated bay and secure it with screws from the rear of the case.

5. Storage Drive Installation

The Cosmos C700P offers multiple bays for 3.5" HDDs and 2.5" SSDs. Utilize the modular drive cages and mounting brackets as per your storage configuration. Secure drives with appropriate screws.

6. Expansion Card Installation

Remove the necessary PCIe slot covers from the rear of the case. Insert your graphics card or other expansion cards into the motherboard's PCIe slots and secure them with screws.

7. Cable Management

Utilize the ample space behind the motherboard tray and the integrated cable routing channels and Velcro straps to manage cables neatly. This improves airflow and aesthetics.

8. Cooling System Configuration

The case comes with pre-installed 140mm fans. For additional cooling, install extra fans or liquid cooling radiators in the designated mounting points (front, top, rear, bottom). Ensure proper airflow direction.

3. Fan Inspection

Occasionally inspect the case fans for dust buildup on the blades. Clean them gently with compressed air or a soft brush. Ensure fans are spinning freely.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your PC case, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • System Not Powering On:
    • Ensure the PSU is properly connected to the wall outlet and the power switch on the PSU is in the 'ON' position.
    • Verify that the front panel power button cable is correctly connected to the motherboard's F_PANEL header.
    • Check all internal power connections (24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU, PCIe power for GPU).
  • Fans Not Spinning:
    • Confirm that fan cables are securely connected to the motherboard fan headers or a fan controller.
    • Check BIOS/UEFI settings for fan speed control.
  • ARGB Lighting Not Working:
    • Ensure the ARGB cables are correctly connected to the motherboard's ARGB header (5V, 3-pin) or the integrated ARGB controller.
    • If using motherboard software, ensure the ARGB control button on the case is set to motherboard control mode (usually by holding the button).
    • Try cycling through modes using the case's ARGB control button.
  • USB Ports Not Functioning:
    • Verify that the front panel USB cables (USB 3.0, USB 2.0, USB Type-C) are securely connected to the corresponding headers on your motherboard.
    • Check motherboard drivers.
