4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

  1. Remove the machine from its packaging.
  2. Place the machine on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from water splashes and heat sources.
  3. Remove the water tank, drip tray, and used capsule container. Clean them with fresh drinking water.

4.2 First Use & Rinsing

  1. Fill the water tank with fresh drinking water and place it back on the machine.
  2. Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet.
  3. Press any coffee button to turn the machine on. The buttons will blink as the machine heats up (approximately 25 seconds).
  4. Once the buttons are steady, the machine is ready.
  5. Place a container (at least 0.5L) under the coffee outlet.
  6. Press the Lungo button to run water through the system. Repeat this process three times to rinse the machine thoroughly.
  7. The machine is now ready for use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Preparing a Coffee

  1. Ensure the water tank is filled with fresh drinking water.
  2. Turn on the machine by pressing any coffee button. Wait for the buttons to stop blinking (approx. 25 seconds).
  3. Lift the capsule insertion lever completely.
  4. Insert a Nespresso Original Line capsule into the chamber.
  5. Close the lever firmly.
  6. Place a cup under the coffee outlet.
  7. Press the desired coffee button: Espresso (40 ml) or Lungo (110 ml). The machine will start brewing.
  8. The brewing will stop automatically. To stop manually, press the button again.
  9. After brewing, lift the lever to eject the used capsule into the container.

5.2 Hot Water Function

  1. Ensure the machine is on and ready.
  2. Place a cup under the coffee outlet.
  3. Press the Hot Water button. Hot water will dispense.
  4. Press the button again to stop the flow.
