Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Disconnect the timer from the power outlet before cleaning. Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery: The built-in rechargeable battery is designed to maintain settings during power outages. If the display becomes dim or settings are frequently lost, ensure the timer is plugged in for several hours to allow the battery to fully charge. The battery is not user-replaceable.
  • Storage: Store the timer in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Troubleshooting

  • Display is blank or dim: The internal battery may be depleted. Plug the timer into a live socket for at least 30 minutes to charge it. If the issue persists, perform a full reset.
  • Timer does not switch ON/OFF as programmed:
    • Ensure the current time and day are set correctly.
    • Verify that the programs are correctly entered (ON and OFF times for each program).
    • Check if the timer is in AUTO ON or AUTO OFF mode (not manual ON/OFF or RANDOM).
    • Confirm that the connected appliance is working and properly plugged into the timer.
  • Buttons are unresponsive: Perform a full reset by pressing the RESET button with a pointed object.
  • Settings are lost after unplugging: The internal rechargeable battery may not be holding a charge. Ensure the timer is plugged in for an extended period (e.g., 24 hours) to fully charge the battery. If settings are still lost, the battery may need replacement (service required).
