Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Mengshen Motion Sensor Alarm System, consider the following maintenance tips:

Troubleshooting

Device not powering on:
Ensure batteries are correctly inserted with proper polarity and are not depleted. If using USB power for the receiver, verify the cable and power source are functional.
Motion sensor not detecting:
Check battery levels in the motion sensor. Ensure there are no obstructions in the detection path. Verify the sensor is within the effective range of the receiver and that pairing is successful.
No alert from receiver:
Confirm the receiver is powered on and in the desired operating mode. Check the volume setting. Re-attempt the pairing process if necessary. Ensure the receiver is within range of the motion sensor.
False alarms:
Adjust the motion sensor's placement to avoid direct sunlight, moving foliage, or heat sources that might trigger it. Ensure the detection angle is appropriate for the monitored area.
Reduced transmission range:
Metal structures or thick walls can interfere with wireless signals. Try repositioning the receiver and sensor to minimize obstructions. Ensure batteries are fresh.
