4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Ensure the router's power switch is in the OFF position.
- Align the battery pack with the battery port on the router.
- Slide the battery pack into the port until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove, press the release latches on the battery pack and slide it out.
4.2 Bit Installation
- Disconnect the battery pack before installing or removing router bits.
- Loosen the collet nut using the provided wrench.
- Insert the router bit into the collet, ensuring at least 3/4 of the shank is inserted.
- Tighten the collet nut firmly with the wrench. Do not overtighten.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Adjusting Cut Depth
- Place the router on a flat surface with the bit touching the surface.
- Loosen the depth adjustment locking lever.
- Rotate the depth adjustment dial to achieve the desired cutting depth. The micro-adjustment feature allows for fine-tuning.
- Once the desired depth is set, firmly tighten the depth adjustment locking lever.
5.2 Routing Techniques
- Always ensure the workpiece is securely clamped before routing.
- Maintain a firm grip on the router with both hands during operation.
- Start the router before making contact with the workpiece.
- Move the router smoothly and consistently along the desired path. Avoid sudden movements or forcing the tool.
