2. Safety Information

  • Read all instructions before operating the appliance.

4. Setup

4.1 Attaching the TV Stand

  1. Carefully place the TV screen-down on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage.
  2. Align each stand leg with the corresponding screw holes on the bottom of the TV.
  3. Secure each leg with the provided M6 x 12mm screws using a screwdriver.

4.2 Wall Mounting

The TV supports VESA wall mounts. The VESA hole pattern is 600mm (V) x 200mm (H). Use M6 x 12mm screws for mounting. Consult a professional for wall mounting to ensure safety and proper installation.

4.3 Connecting Devices

The TV features multiple input ports for various devices:

  • HDMI: 4 HDMI 2.0 ports with HDCP 2.2 (one with HDMI ARC). Connect Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, cable boxes, etc.
  • USB: 1 USB port (for media player).
  • RF: For connecting an antenna or cable.
  • Composite: Use the provided Mini 3.5mm connector for older devices.
  • Headphone Jack: For private listening.
  • Optical Audio Out: For connecting to a soundbar or audio receiver.
  • Ethernet: For a wired network connection.

4.4 Initial Power On & Roku Setup

  1. Connect the power cord to the TV and a power outlet.
  2. Insert the 3 AAA batteries into the remote control.
  3. Press the power button on the remote.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your language and connect to your Wi-Fi network (802.11ac 2x2 Dual Band supports 2.4GHz & 5GHz).
  5. Activate your Roku TV by visiting roku.com/link on a computer or mobile device and entering the code displayed on your TV screen.
  6. Once activated, the TV will update its software and install streaming channels.

5. Operating

5.1 Roku TV Interface

The Roku TV Home screen provides easy access to streaming channels, live TV inputs, and settings. Navigate using the directional pad on your remote.

5.2 Remote Control Functions

The Roku TV remote (RC280) offers intuitive control:

  • Power Button: Turns the TV on/off.
  • Directional Pad: Navigates menus and selects items.
  • Home Button: Returns to the Roku Home screen.
  • Back Button: Returns to the previous screen.
  • Volume Up/Down: Adjusts audio volume.
  • Mute: Mutes/unmutes audio.
  • Instant Replay: Replays the last few seconds of video.
  • Options (*): Accesses contextual options within apps or menus.
  • Dedicated App Buttons: Quick access to popular streaming services (e.g., Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, Disney+).

5.3 Picture Settings

Optimize your viewing experience with various picture settings:

  • Picture Mode: Select from options like Movie, Normal, Bright, Dark, or Game.
  • TV Brightness: Adjusts overall screen brightness.
  • Dolby Vision HDR: Provides superior 4K UHD picture quality with enhanced contrast, color, and detail. The TV's HDR dynamic contrast technology optimizes scenes for accurate detail in bright and dark areas.
  • iPQ Engine: Ensures precise color replication.
  • HDR Pro Gamma: Improves HDR performance in various lighting conditions.
  • Auto Game Mode: Automatically enhances performance for gaming by offering smoother action, lower latency, and optimal picture settings.

5.4 Sound Settings

Access sound settings via the Options menu to adjust audio output, sound mode, and other audio enhancements.

5.5 Streaming Channels/Apps

The Roku TV Smart Platform provides access to over 500,000 movies and TV shows. You can add or remove channels from the Streaming Store. Use the dedicated app buttons on the remote for quick access.

5.6 Live TV

Connect an antenna to the RF input to access local broadcast channels. The Roku TV interface integrates live TV seamlessly. If you connect a 16GB or larger USB drive, you can enable Live TV Pause for up to 90 minutes of buffer.

6. Maintenance

  • Screen Cleaning: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, use a screen-specific cleaning solution applied to the cloth, not directly to the screen.
  • Cabinet Cleaning: Wipe the TV cabinet with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
