  2. Connect Peripherals: Plug your USB peripherals (e.g., mouse, keyboard, printer, scanner, USB flash drive) into the four USB Output ports on the switch.
  3. Optional Power Connection: If you are connecting high-power USB devices such as external hard drives or digital cameras, connect a standard 5V power adapter (not included) to the Micro USB 5V Power Supply Interface on the switch. This ensures stable operation for all connected devices. Low-power devices like keyboards and mice typically do not require external power.

5. Operating Instructions

Once the switch is set up, operating it is straightforward:

  • Switching Computers: To switch control of the connected USB peripherals between your two computers, simply press the 'Switch' button located on the top of the device.
  • LED Indicator: The LED indicator light on the switch will change to show which computer (Host 1 or Host 2) is currently active and has control over the shared USB devices.

  • Device Not Recognized or Unstable Connection:

    • A slight delay (typically 2-3 seconds) may occur when switching between computers as the system recognizes the peripherals. This is normal operation.
