1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Always ensure the appliance is fully immersed in water up to the minimum fill line before operation. Do not operate dry.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
• The appliance is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. However, do not intentionally submerge the entire unit beyond the specified water level.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Use only in a well-ventilated area.
• Ensure the pot used is stable and can safely hold the water and the device.

Components:

• Control Panel: LCD display for temperature and timer, with touch buttons for operation.

4. Setup

Follow these steps for the initial setup of your sous vide cooker.

1. Choose a Suitable Container: Select a pot or container that is at least 15 cm deep and can hold the desired volume of water.
2. Attach the Cooker: Use the adjustable clamp to securely attach the Steba SV 80 WIFI to the side of your chosen container. Ensure it is stable.

3. Fill with Water: Fill the container with water, ensuring the water level is between the minimum and maximum fill lines indicated on the circulator body. Do not overfill, especially if adding food later.

4. Plug In: Connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Manual Operation

1. Set Temperature: Press the + or - buttons to adjust the desired cooking temperature. The temperature can be set up to 90 °C with a maximum deviation of 0.1 °C.
2. Set Timer: Press the timer button (clock icon) and then use the + or - buttons to set the cooking duration (up to 99 hours).
3. Start Cooking: Press the power button (circle with line) to start the heating and circulation process. The device will heat the water to the set temperature.
4. Add Food: Once the target temperature is reached, carefully place your vacuum-sealed food into the water bath.

5. End Cooking: The device will alert you when the timer expires. Press the power button to stop operation. Carefully remove the food.

5.2 WiFi and App Control

The Steba SV 80 WIFI features a WiFi function for convenient control via a mobile application. Ensure your home WiFi network is 2.4 GHz for compatibility.

1. Download App: Download the official Steba app from your mobile device's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Connect to WiFi: Follow the in-app instructions to connect your Steba SV 80 WIFI to your home WiFi network. This typically involves putting the device into pairing mode (often by pressing the WiFi button on the control panel) and selecting your network in the app.
3. Remote Control: Once connected, you can set temperature, timer, start, and stop the cooking process remotely through the app. The app may also offer recipes and cooking guides.

6.1 Cleaning

• Always unplug the device and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior of the control panel and upper body with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the control panel in water.
• The stainless steel lower part can be cleaned by wiping or by running the device in a water bath with a descaling solution (e.g., vinegar and water) to remove mineral deposits.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
• Ensure the water circulation vents at the bottom are clear of debris.

• Store the appliance in a clean, dry place when not in use.
