4. Setup Guide
4.1 Charging the Earbuds and Case
Before first use, fully charge both the earbuds and the charging case.
- Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are properly seated; magnets will guide them into place.
- Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the case and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
- The LED display on the charging case will show the current battery percentage. The earbud indicators will light up during charging.
- A full charge for the case typically takes approximately 2 hours. The earbuds charge automatically when placed in the powered case.

4.2 Pairing with Your Device
The earbuds feature a one-step pairing process for quick and easy connection.
- Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "PowerPods" from the list of found devices.
- Once connected, you will hear a confirmation prompt, and the earbud indicator lights will change.
- For subsequent uses, the earbuds will automatically connect to the last paired device when removed from the case.

5. Operating Instructions
The Otium Wireless Earbuds feature intuitive touch controls for managing audio and calls.
5.1 Music Playback Controls

5.3 Power On/Off
- Power On: Earbuds automatically power on when removed from the charging case. You can also manually power on by pressing and holding the touch area for 3 seconds until you hear a prompt.
- Power Off: Earbuds automatically power off when placed back into the charging case and the lid is closed. You can also manually power off by pressing and holding the touch area for 5 seconds until you hear a prompt.
6. Maintenance and Care
Proper care ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your earbuds.
6.1 Cleaning
- Regularly clean the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents.
- Gently remove any earwax or debris from the ear tips and speaker mesh using a small, soft brush or cotton swab.
6.2 Waterproofing (IPX8)
The earbuds are IPX8 waterproof, meaning they are protected against prolonged immersion in water. This makes them suitable for workouts and use in rainy conditions.
- While IPX8 rated, it is recommended to dry the earbuds thoroughly before placing them back into the charging case to prevent damage to the charging contacts.
- The charging case is not waterproof. Avoid exposing the charging case to water or moisture.

6.3 Storage
Store the earbuds in their charging case when not in use to protect them and keep them charged. Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
