3. Setup and Installation
3.1. Charging the Device
Before initial use, fully charge the +Mesh adapter. Connect the included USB cable to the charging port on the device and to a USB power source. The LED indicator will show charging status.
3.2. Mounting Options
The +Mesh adapter comes with both an adhesive mount and a handlebar mount for versatile installation. For optimal performance, mount the device in a location that provides the clearest line of sight to other Mesh Intercom users and away from your body, as the human body can absorb radio waves.

5. Maintenance
5.1. Battery Life and Charging
The +Mesh adapter provides approximately 13 hours of battery life. It can be used while charging, allowing for continuous operation on longer rides. Regularly charge the device to ensure it is ready for use.
5.2. Cleaning and Storage
Clean the device with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Store the +Mesh adapter in a dry, cool place when not in use, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
6. Troubleshooting
- Device Not Powering On: Ensure the device is fully charged. If the issue persists, try resetting the device by holding the multipurpose button for an extended period (e.g., 10-15 seconds) or connecting it to a power source.
- Cannot Pair with Headset: Ensure both the +Mesh adapter and your Sena Bluetooth headset are in their respective pairing modes. Refer to section 3.3 for detailed pairing instructions. Make sure no other Bluetooth devices are interfering with the pairing process.
- Poor Intercom Quality/Range: Verify that the +Mesh adapter is mounted in a location with clear line of sight to other Mesh users. Obstructions (like your body or large vehicle components) can significantly reduce range and clarity. Ensure the antenna is fully extended.
- Intermittent Connection: This can be caused by being at the edge of the Mesh network's range or by significant obstructions. Try moving closer to the main Mesh group or adjusting the mounting position for better line of sight.
