Setup Guide
1. Charging the Battery
- Connect the camera to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter) using the provided USB cable.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. It will turn off or change color when fully charged.
2. Inserting a Micro SD Card
A Class 10 or higher Micro SD card (up to 64GB) is recommended for optimal performance.
- Locate the Micro SD card slot on the camera.
- Insert the Micro SD card with the gold contacts facing the correct direction until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.
3. Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode button for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button again for a few seconds until the screen turns off.
Operating Instructions
Basic Recording
- Ensure the camera is powered on and a Micro SD card is inserted.
- Press the Power/Mode button repeatedly to cycle through different modes (Video, Photo, Playback, Settings). Select Video mode.
- Press the Shutter/OK button to start recording. A red indicator light will usually flash, and a timer will appear on the screen.
- Press the Shutter/OK button again to stop recording.
Driving Mode
Driving Mode allows the camera to automatically start recording when power is supplied (e.g., when connected to a car charger) and stop when power is cut off.
- Navigate to the camera's settings menu.
- Locate and enable the "Driving Mode" or "Car Mode" option.
- Connect the camera to your vehicle's power source.
Slow Motion Recording
Capture dynamic action in slow motion for detailed playback.
- Navigate to the camera's settings menu.
- Select the "Video Resolution" or "Recording Mode" option.
- Choose a resolution that supports slow motion (e.g., 1080p at 60fps or 720p at 120fps, if available). Refer to the camera's on-screen menu for specific options.
- Start recording as usual. The footage will be recorded at a higher frame rate and played back in slow motion.
Wi-Fi Connectivity

- On the camera, navigate to the settings menu and enable Wi-Fi. The camera's Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password will be displayed on the screen.
- On your smartphone/tablet, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the camera's Wi-Fi network using the provided password.
- Open the GLI PRO app to control the camera, view live footage, and download files.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera body and lens. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use harsh chemicals.
- Waterproof Housing: After use in water, rinse the housing with fresh water and allow it to air dry. Inspect the seals for any debris or damage before each use.
