1. Safety Information

Please read these instructions carefully before assembly and use of the besrey Lightweight Foldable Stroller. Keep this manual for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury to your child.

• Always use the restraint system: Ensure your child is securely fastened with the 5-point safety harness at all times when in the stroller.
• Never leave your child unattended: Constant supervision is required.
• Avoid overloading: Do not place more than the recommended weight in the storage basket or on the handle. The maximum weight capacity for the child is 33 lbs (15 kg).

3. Setup and Assembly

3.1 Unfolding the Stroller

1. Place the folded stroller on a flat surface.
2. Release the side locking mechanism (if engaged).
3. Lift the handle upwards until the frame clicks into place, indicating it is fully open. Ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged before use.

3.2 Attaching Accessories

• Rain Cover: Drape the transparent rain cover over the stroller, ensuring it covers the child's seating area and canopy completely. Secure any fasteners or elastic edges to prevent it from blowing off.
• Storage Bag: The carry bag is used for transporting the folded stroller. Place the folded stroller inside the bag and use the shoulder strap for easy carrying.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Adjusting the Backrest

The stroller features a multi-position recline for your child's comfort. To adjust, locate the strap and buckle mechanism at the back of the seat. Loosen or tighten the strap to achieve the desired angle:

• 112°: Seated breastfeeding mode.
• 145°: Half-lying breastfeeding mode.
• 160°: Flat sleeping mode.

4.2 Securing Your Child with the 5-Point Harness

Always use the 5-point safety harness to secure your child. The harness includes shoulder straps, waist straps, and a crotch strap, all connecting to a central buckle.

1. Place your child in the stroller seat.
2. Bring the shoulder straps over your child's shoulders and the waist straps around their waist.
3. Insert the buckles of the shoulder and waist straps into the central buckle until they click securely.
4. Adjust the straps to ensure a snug fit without being too tight. The harness also features reflective strips for increased visibility during low-light conditions.

4.3 Engaging the Brakes

The stroller is equipped with brakes on the rear wheels. To engage the brakes, press down firmly on the brake pedal located near the rear wheels until the stroller is stationary. To release, lift the pedal upwards.

4.4 Using the Swivel Wheels

The front wheels can swivel 360° for easy maneuverability. For stability on uneven terrain or when pushing in a straight line, the front wheels can be locked into a fixed position. Locate the locking lever above each front wheel and push it down to lock, or up to unlock.

4.5 Adjusting the Canopy

The canopy can be adjusted to provide shade and protection from the elements. Simply pull it forward or push it back to the desired position.

4.6 Folding the Stroller

To fold the stroller for storage or transport:

1. Ensure the child is removed from the stroller.
2. Engage the rear wheel brakes.
3. Locate the folding buttons on the handle. Press button 1 and then button 2 simultaneously (refer to Figure 5).
4. Push the handle downwards and forward, allowing the stroller to collapse.
5. Secure the side locking mechanism to keep the stroller in its folded position.

4.7 Car Seat Compatibility

The besrey stroller is designed to be compatible with certain car seats using adapter straps. Note: The stroller only provides the connected straps; the car seat itself is not included. Ensure the car seat is securely attached to the stroller frame using the provided straps according to the car seat manufacturer's instructions.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

• Fabric Parts: Clean fabric parts with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh detergents or bleach. Allow to air dry completely.
• Frame: Wipe the aluminum frame with a soft, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust.
• Wheels: Regularly clean debris from the wheels and axles. Lubricate moving parts with a silicone-based lubricant if necessary to ensure smooth operation.

5.2 Storage

Store the stroller in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When storing for extended periods, it is recommended to use the provided carry bag to protect it from dust and damage.

6. Troubleshooting

• Stroller difficult to fold/unfold: Ensure all locking mechanisms are disengaged before attempting to fold or unfold. Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism.
• Wheels squeak or do not turn smoothly: Clean any dirt or debris from the wheel axles. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the moving parts of the wheels.
• Brakes not engaging properly: Check for obstructions around the brake mechanism. Ensure the brake pedal is fully depressed.
• Harness straps are too tight/loose: Adjust the straps using the buckles to achieve a secure but comfortable fit for your child.
