Control Panel (Typical Layout)

  • Power Button: Turns the unit on or off.
  • Mode Button: Switches between Bluetooth, FM Radio, USB, and MicroSD modes.
  • Play/Pause Button: Plays or pauses audio playback.
  • Previous/Volume Down Button: Short press for previous track/station, long press to decrease volume.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the DC 5V Charging Port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the larger end of the USB charging cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate, typically red, during charging. It will turn off or change color when fully charged.
  4. Allow approximately 3-4 hours for a full charge before first use.

4.2 Powering On/Off

  • To power on the speaker, press and hold the Power Button for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see the indicator lights activate.
  • To power off the speaker, press and hold the Power Button again for a few seconds until the indicator lights turn off.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light and an audible prompt.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), go to the Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
  3. Search for available devices. You should see "QFX BT-2" or a similar name in the list.
  4. Select "QFX BT-2" to connect. Once paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the LED light will stop flashing.
  5. You can now play audio from your device through the QFX BT-2 speaker.

5.2 FM Radio Mode

  1. Press the Mode Button repeatedly until you enter FM Radio mode. An audible prompt will confirm the mode.
  2. To automatically scan and save available FM stations, press and hold the Play/Pause Button. The speaker will scan and store stations.
  3. Once scanning is complete, use the Previous and Next Buttons to navigate between saved stations.

5.3 USB/MicroSD Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive or a microSD card (with audio files in MP3 format) into the respective port/slot on the speaker.
  2. The speaker will automatically detect the storage device and switch to USB or MicroSD mode, beginning playback. If it does not switch automatically, press the Mode Button to select the correct mode.
  3. Use the Play/Pause, Previous, and Next Buttons to control playback.

5.4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

TWS allows two QFX BT-2 speakers to connect wirelessly and play audio simultaneously for a stereo sound experience. A second QFX BT-2 speaker is required (sold separately).

  1. Ensure both QFX BT-2 speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the Mode Button for a few seconds until you hear a pairing tone.
  3. The two speakers will attempt to connect to each other. Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation tone.
  4. Now, connect your Bluetooth-enabled device to the primary speaker as described in section 5.1. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.

5.5 RGB LED Disco Light

  • To activate the RGB LED disco light, press the Light Mode Button.
  • Press the Light Mode Button repeatedly to cycle through different light patterns or to turn the light off.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the speaker. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to fully charge the battery every few months to maintain its lifespan.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid completely draining the battery frequently. Charge the unit when the low battery indicator appears.

7. Troubleshooting
