Setup

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the Kidicom Advance. Connect the included USB cable to the device's USB port and the other end to a power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging light will indicate the charging status.

2. Powering On/Off

To power on: Press and hold the On/Off button until the screen lights up.
To power off: Press and hold the On/Off button, then follow the on-screen prompts to shut down.

3. Inserting a microSD Card (Optional)

The device has 8 GB of internal memory, expandable up to 40 GB with a microSD card (not included). Locate the microSD card slot, gently insert the card until it clicks into place, and ensure it is properly seated.

Operating Instructions

Navigating the Interface

The Kidicom Advance features a 5-inch HD touchscreen. Swipe left or right to navigate between screens, and tap icons to open applications. The Home button returns you to the main screen, and the Back button navigates to the previous screen.

KidiConnect App: This application allows children to chat and share messages, photos, and drawings with pre-approved contacts (parents and family members) on their smartphones or tablets. All communications are managed and approved by parents.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Device

To clean the Kidicom Advance, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the device's surface. Avoid getting moisture into any openings.

KidiConnect messages not sending/receiving.	Verify that the device has an active Wi-Fi connection. Ensure the contact is approved in parental controls. Check the KidiConnect app on both devices for any error messages.
Device is running slowly.	Close unused applications. Clear cache if possible through settings. Consider inserting a microSD card for additional storage if memory is low.
