1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Pro Breeze 2500W Oil Filled Radiator. This manual provides important information regarding the safe operation, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new heater. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

This portable electric heater features 11 heating elements, 3 power settings (1200W, 1300W, 2500W), an adjustable thermostat, and an integrated 24-hour timer for optimal control and energy efficiency. Designed for quiet operation and equipped with advanced safety features, it is suitable for heating various indoor spaces such as bedrooms, offices, and living rooms.

2. Important Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic precautions:

  • Read all instructions before using this heater.
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • Always unplug the heater when not in use.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
  • Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  • Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
  • This heater includes an overheat protection system and an anti-tip switch that automatically shuts off the unit if it overheats or tips over.

5. Setup and Assembly

The radiator is pre-assembled, but the wheel assemblies need to be attached before first use.

Attaching the Wheel Assemblies

  1. Carefully turn the radiator upside down on a soft, non-abrasive surface to prevent damage.
  2. Locate the two metal U-bolts and four wing nuts provided.
  3. Align one wheel assembly with the base of the radiator, positioning the U-bolt around the last fin at each end.
  4. Insert the ends of the U-bolt through the holes in the wheel assembly base.
  5. Secure with the wing nuts, tightening them firmly but do not overtighten.
  6. Repeat for the second wheel assembly at the other end of the radiator.
  7. Once both wheel assemblies are securely attached, carefully turn the radiator upright.

Ensure the radiator is placed on a stable, level surface and is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from any walls or combustible materials.

6. Operating Instructions

This section details how to use your Pro Breeze Oil Filled Radiator.

Initial Use

  1. Plug the power cord into a suitable 230V AC wall outlet. Ensure the outlet is not overloaded.
  2. The power indicator light will illuminate when the unit is receiving power.

Setting the Power Level

The radiator offers three power settings:

  • I (Low): 1200W
  • II (Medium): 1300W
  • III (High): 2500W

Turn the Power Selector dial to your desired heat output. For faster heating, select the highest setting (III).

Adjusting the Thermostat

The adjustable thermostat allows you to maintain a comfortable room temperature.

  1. Turn the Thermostat Dial clockwise to the maximum setting.
  2. Once the room reaches your desired temperature, slowly turn the Thermostat Dial counter-clockwise until you hear a click and the heater turns off.
  3. The heater will now cycle on and off automatically to maintain the set temperature.

Using the 24-Hour Timer

The integrated 24-hour timer allows you to program specific on/off periods for the heater.

  1. The timer dial is divided into 24 segments, each representing one hour. Each segment can be pushed in or pulled out.
  2. To set the current time, rotate the timer dial clockwise until the arrow on the dial points to the current hour.
  3. Push in the segments corresponding to the hours you want the heater to be ON. Pull out the segments for the hours you want the heater to be OFF.
  4. Ensure the Power Selector is set to your desired heat level and the Thermostat Dial is set to a temperature above the current room temperature for the heater to activate during the programmed 'ON' periods.
  5. The heater will now operate according to your programmed schedule.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your radiator.

Cleaning

  • Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Do not immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior.
  • Clean the air vents regularly with a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush to remove dust and debris.

Storage

  • If storing the heater for an extended period, clean it thoroughly.
  • Wrap the power cord around the integrated cord storage hooks.
  • Store the heater in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.

8. Troubleshooting

If your radiator is not functioning correctly, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:
