IMPORTANT: Before proceeding with installation, ensure all safety warnings in Section 2 are understood and followed. Disconnect all power to the circuit at the breaker or disconnect switch before beginning any wiring.

Mounting:

  1. Select a suitable location for mounting the timer, ensuring it is protected from moisture and extreme temperatures.
  2. Mount the timer securely using appropriate fasteners.

Wiring:

All wiring must comply with national and local electrical codes. Use COPPER conductors ONLY.

  1. Access the wiring terminals by lifting the terminal cover, removing the screw, and swinging it aside as indicated on the device.
  2. Connect the incoming power supply wires (Line) and the load wires (to the device being controlled) to the appropriate terminals.
  3. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
  4. Replace the screw and the plastic insulator covering the terminals before restoring power.
  5. Restore power to the circuit at the breaker or disconnect switch.

5. Setup

Initial Power-Up and Time Setting:

  1. Upon initial power-up, the display may show a default time or be blank.
  2. Press the MODE button until the time setting mode is displayed.
  3. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the hour and minute.
  4. Press ENTER/NEXT to confirm the time.
  5. Use the DAY button and + / - buttons to set the current day of the week.
  6. Press ENTER/NEXT to confirm the day.
  7. The timer is now set to the current time and day.

6. Operating Instructions

Programming ON/OFF Events:

The ET2815C allows for up to 96 ON/OFF events.

  1. Press the MODE button until 'PROG' or 'PROGRAM' appears on the display.
  2. The display will show 'P1 ON' (Program 1 ON). Use + / - to set the desired ON time.
  3. Press ENTER/NEXT.
  4. Use the DAY button to select the days of the week for this ON event (e.g., Mon-Fri, Daily, or specific days).
  5. Press ENTER/NEXT.
  6. The display will show 'P1 OFF'. Use + / - to set the desired OFF time.
  7. Press ENTER/NEXT.
  8. Use the DAY button to select the days of the week for this OFF event.
  9. Press ENTER/NEXT to save Program 1 and move to 'P2 ON'.
  10. Repeat steps for additional programs. To exit programming, press MODE until the current time is displayed.

Holiday Block Programming:

The timer supports up to 50 holiday blocks with independent scheduling.
