3.1 Touch Buttons

The RUIZU D50 features high-sensitivity touch buttons for navigation and control. These buttons are responsive and include standard playback controls (play/pause, next/previous track), menu navigation, and a return function.

4. Getting Started

4.1 Charging the Device

4.2 Transferring Files

Connect the MP3 player to your computer using the USB cable. The device will appear as a removable disk. You can then drag and drop music, video, e-book (TXT), and image files directly into the appropriate folders on the player or its Micro SD card.

4.3 Inserting a Micro SD Card

Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the device. Gently insert the Micro SD card until it clicks into place. To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

5. Basic Operation

5.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button located on the side of the device to turn it on or off.

5.2 Navigation

Use the touch buttons on the front panel to navigate through menus and select options. The central button typically acts as 'Enter' or 'Confirm', while the surrounding arrows allow movement. The curved arrow button usually functions as 'Back' or 'Return'.

5.3 Language Settings

The device supports 25 languages. To change the language, navigate to the 'Settings' menu, find 'Language', and select your preferred option.

6.1 Bluetooth Connectivity

To connect to Bluetooth headphones or speakers:

  1. Ensure your Bluetooth headphones/speaker are in pairing mode.
  2. On the RUIZU D50, navigate to the 'Bluetooth' menu.
  3. Select 'Search Device' to find available Bluetooth devices.
  4. Choose your device from the list to pair.

Important: The RUIZU D50 acts as a Bluetooth transmitter and cannot connect to smartphones or other devices as a receiver.

6.2 FM Radio

To use the FM radio function:

  1. Plug in the earphones, as they act as the antenna.
  2. Navigate to the 'FM Radio' menu.
  3. Use the scan function to find available radio stations.
  4. You can save your favorite stations for quick access.

6.3 Pedometer

The built-in pedometer tracks your steps. To activate and use it, navigate to the 'Pedometer' function from the main menu. Note: The pedometer function is not supported when Bluetooth mode is active.

6.4 Voice Recorder

Access the 'Voice Recorder' function to record audio. Ensure sufficient storage space is available on the device or Micro SD card.

6.5 E-Book Reader

The RUIZU D50 supports TXT format e-books. Transfer your TXT files to the device and access them through the 'E-Book' menu.

6.6 Video Player

The device can play videos in 128*160 AMV AVI converted format. Ensure your video files are converted to this specific format for playback. Access videos through the 'Video' menu.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Device Not Turning On

  • Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect it to a power source for at least 10-15 minutes.
  • Try resetting the device by pressing and holding the power button for an extended period (e.g., 10 seconds).

7.2 Cannot Connect via Bluetooth

  • Confirm your headphones/speaker are in pairing mode.
  • Ensure the MP3 player is not attempting to pair with a smartphone, as it functions as a transmitter only.
  • Move the devices closer to each other to ensure they are within range.

7.3 Files Not Playing

  • Music: Verify that the music files are in a supported format (MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, WAV, DRM, ACELP).
  • Video: Ensure video files are converted to 128*160 AMV AVI format.
  • E-Book: Confirm e-book files are in TXT format.
  • Check if the files are corrupted or incomplete.

7.4 Pedometer Not Working

  • Ensure Bluetooth is turned off, as the pedometer does not function in Bluetooth mode.
