1. Product Overview
The LEONLITE LED Emergency Light is designed for safety and reliability in various environments. This unit features two adjustable heads, a long-lasting battery backup for power outages, and is rated for wet locations, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. It complies with United States fire inspection and International Fire Code, holding UL and FCC certifications. The light operates on universal 120V/277V voltage.

Each emergency light is equipped with a 3.6V 2000mAh rechargeable battery, providing over 90 minutes of continuous illumination during a power failure. The robust design includes a removable protective shield and an IP65 waterproof rating, ensuring resistance against dust, snow, water, and other environmental factors. An EVA foam layer on the back prevents water leakage and short circuits, while also insulating against heat, making it ideal for temperatures between 32℉-104℉.

The light heads offer a wide 120° beam angle and a high 400lm output, extending the lighting range from 20-70ft. Each head can be adjusted 300° to direct light precisely where needed.

2. Setup and Installation
Installation of the LEONLITE LED Emergency Light is designed to be straightforward. All necessary hardware, including screws and wire nuts, is included. An EVA foam gasket is provided for mounting on a J-box to ensure a secure and insulated fit.

Test Button:
A waterproof test button is located on the unit (refer to Figure 4). Pressing this button simulates a power outage, allowing you to verify that the battery backup and LED lights are functioning correctly. Release the button to return to normal operation.
Adjusting Light Heads:
The two LED light heads can be manually adjusted up to 300° horizontally and 120° vertically to direct the light output as needed for optimal coverage (refer to Figure 5).
4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your emergency light.
- Regular Testing: Periodically press the test button to ensure the battery backup system is operational. It is recommended to perform a full discharge test every 3 months to maintain battery health.
- Cleaning: The clear protective cover can be removed for cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior and internal components if necessary. Ensure the unit is disconnected from power before cleaning.
- Inspection: Annually inspect the unit for any signs of damage, corrosion, or loose connections. Ensure the EVA foam gasket remains intact to maintain its waterproof rating.
