3. Setup Instructions
3.1. Battery Installation
The DinoFire Wireless Presenter requires one AAA battery (not included). To install the battery:
- Locate the battery cover on the back of the presenter.
- Slide the battery cover open.
- Insert one AAA battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the battery compartment.
- Close the battery cover securely.
3.2. Connecting via 2.4GHz Mode (Recommended for most users)
This mode offers plug-and-play convenience without requiring Bluetooth pairing.
- Take out the USB wireless receiver from the bottom of the presenter.
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Slide the mode switch on the side of the presenter to the "RF" position.
- The presenter should automatically connect to your computer. The indicator light on the presenter will turn blue when connected.
- You can now use the presenter for navigation.
3.3. Connecting via Bluetooth Mode (For Mac and other Bluetooth-enabled devices)
This mode is ideal for devices without a USB port or when a direct Bluetooth connection is preferred. (Not recommended for iPad).
- Ensure the USB wireless receiver is NOT plugged into your computer.
- Slide the mode switch on the side of the presenter to the "BT" (Bluetooth) position.
- On your computer or device, go to Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth on.
- Search for new devices. The presenter should appear as "DinoFire Presenter" or similar.
- Select the presenter to pair. The indicator light on the presenter will turn blue once successfully paired.
- For Mac users, a simple setup might be required upon first connection. Follow on-screen prompts if any appear.
