4.2 Ducted Mode (External Extraction)

In ducted mode, cooking fumes are expelled outside the home through an exhaust duct (not included). Ensure the ducting is correctly sized and sealed to maximize efficiency.

4.3 Recirculating Mode (Internal Filtration)

If external air evacuation is not possible, the hood can operate in recirculating mode. This requires the installation of activated carbon filters (not included) to purify cooking odors before releasing clean air back into the kitchen environment.
