Maintenance

Filter Replacement:

The two-layer high-density fiberglass filter should be regularly inspected and replaced when it becomes saturated with paint or debris. A clogged filter will reduce the efficiency of the exhaust system. Replacement filters are available from Master Airbrush.

Cleaning the Booth:

Periodically clean the interior surfaces of the spray booth to prevent paint buildup. Use appropriate cleaning solutions for the type of paint used. Ensure the booth is unplugged before cleaning.

Troubleshooting

  • Fan Not Operating:
Check if the power adapter is securely plugged into both the booth and the electrical outlet. Ensure the fan switch is in the 'ON' position. Verify the electrical outlet is functional.
  • LED Lights Not Turning On:
Confirm the power adapter is connected and the light switch is in the 'ON' position. If the issue persists, the LED strip may require replacement.
  • Poor Fume Extraction:
Inspect the fiberglass filter for excessive paint buildup and replace if necessary. Ensure the exhaust hose is properly connected and extended to vent outside, free from kinks or obstructions.
  • Booth Does Not Fold Correctly:
Ensure all internal components, such as the turntable and filter, are removed or properly stowed before attempting to fold the booth. Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism.
