This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new media player.

2. Product Overview

The ASHATA HDMI Media Player is a mini 1080P Full-HD device featuring a sleek black design and intuitive controls. It offers multiple connectivity options for both input and output.

2.1. Front Panel Controls

• Return Button: Navigates back to the previous menu or screen.
• Refresh Button: Refreshes the current display or content list.
• Directional Buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right): Used for menu navigation and selection.
• OK Button: Confirms selection or enters a menu.

2.2. Rear Panel Ports

• HDMI Output: Connects to modern LCD TVs or monitors for high-definition video and audio.

5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your ASHATA HDMI Media Player:

1. Connect to Display:
   • For HDMI-enabled TVs/monitors: Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI port on the media player and the other end to an HDMI input on your display device.
   • For older TVs (CRT): Connect the included AV cable to the AV output ports on the media player (yellow for video, red/white for audio) and the corresponding input ports on your TV.

2. Connect Power: Insert the DC 5V power adapter into the DC 5V input port on the media player, then plug the adapter into a power outlet. The device will power on automatically.
3. Insert Media: Insert your USB flash drive, external HDD, SD card, or MMC card into the corresponding port/slot on the media player.
4. Select Input on TV: Switch your TV's input source to the HDMI or AV input where the media player is connected.

6. Operating Instructions

Once connected, the media player will display its main interface. You can navigate using the buttons on the unit or the included remote control.

6.1. Basic Playback

1. From the main menu, select the type of media you wish to play (e.g., Movie, Music, Photo).
2. Navigate to your connected storage device (USB or SD/MMC).
3. Browse through the folders and files. Select the desired media file and press the OK button on the remote or player to start playback.
4. Use the remote control for playback functions such as Play/Pause, Stop, Fast Forward, Rewind, Next/Previous Track/Chapter, Volume Control, and Mute.

6.2. Supported Media Types

The player supports a wide array of multimedia formats:

• Video Formats: MKV, AVI, MP4, MOV, RM, RMVB, MPG, MPEG, DAT, VOB, TS, M2TS, WMV, ASF, FLV, etc.
• Audio Formats: MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, OGG, AC3, DTS, AAC, etc.
• Image Formats: JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, TIFF.

6.3. Advertising Player Mode

For continuous playback in commercial or display settings:

• Place the desired video files in the root directory of your USB drive or SD card.
• The player is designed to automatically boot up and begin looping playback of these files when power is supplied.
• Refer to the on-screen menu settings for specific options related to auto-play and loop modes, if available.

7. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your media player, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
• Ventilation: Ensure the player is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Do not block any ventilation openings.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the player in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Power Off: Always disconnect the power adapter from the wall outlet when the device is not in use or during electrical storms.
