1. Introduction

The AZZA Apollo 430W-DF2 is an ATX Mid-Tower case designed for PC enthusiasts and gamers. It features a distinctive white and orange aesthetic with an elegant RGB light bar on the front panel. This case supports ATX and Micro ATX motherboards, graphics cards up to 370mm in length, and offers extensive cooling options including support for water cooling radiators up to 240mm at the front and top. A high-quality tempered glass side panel provides a clear view of your internal components.

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper assembly and installation of your PC components into the AZZA Apollo 430W-DF2 case.

4.1. Case Overview

4.2. Removing Side Panels

  1. Carefully unscrew the thumbscrews securing the tempered glass side panel.
  2. Gently pull the panel away from the case and set it aside on a soft, flat surface.
  3. Repeat for the steel side panel on the opposite side to access the cable management area.

4.3. Motherboard Installation

  1. Install the I/O shield into the cutout at the rear of the case.
  2. Align your ATX or Micro ATX motherboard with the standoffs inside the case. Ensure all standoffs match the motherboard's mounting holes.
  3. Secure the motherboard with the provided screws.

4.4. Graphics Card (GPU) Installation

  1. Remove the necessary PCIe slot covers from the rear of the case.
  2. Insert your graphics card into the appropriate PCIe slot on the motherboard.
  3. Secure the graphics card with screws. The case supports cards up to 370mm in length.

4.5. Storage Drive Installation

  • 2.5" SSD/HDD: Mount 2.5" drives to the dedicated mounting points behind the motherboard tray or in the drive cage.
  • 3.5" HDD: Install 3.5" drives into the drive cage located in the PSU shroud area.

4.6. Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation

  1. Slide your PSU into the dedicated compartment at the bottom rear of the case.
  2. Secure the PSU with screws from the rear of the case.

4.7. Fan and Radiator Installation

The case supports various fan and radiator configurations:

  • Front: 3 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm fans; up to 240mm radiator.
  • Top: 2 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm fans; up to 240mm radiator.
  • Rear: 1 x 120mm fan.

Install fans and radiators using the appropriate screws and mounting points.

4.8. Cable Management

Utilize the cable routing cutouts and tie-down points behind the motherboard tray to organize cables. This improves airflow and aesthetics.

5. Operating the RGB Lighting

The AZZA Apollo 430W-DF2 features an integrated RGB light bar on the front panel. The lighting effects can typically be controlled via a dedicated button on the top I/O panel or through your motherboard's RGB software if connected to a compatible header. Refer to your motherboard manual for software-based control.

6. Maintenance

  • Dust Filters: Regularly clean the magnetic dust filters located on the top and bottom of the case to maintain optimal airflow and prevent dust buildup. Simply remove, clean with water or a soft brush, and reattach.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Interior: Periodically use compressed air to remove dust from internal components and fan blades.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your case, consider the following common solutions:

  • No Power/Front Panel Not Working: Double-check all front panel connectors (power switch, reset switch, USB, audio) are correctly plugged into the motherboard.
  • Poor Airflow/Overheating: Ensure all fans are spinning correctly and are oriented to provide proper intake and exhaust. Clean dust filters regularly. Verify no cables are obstructing airflow.
  • RGB Lights Not Functioning: Check the RGB cable connection to the motherboard or controller. Ensure the RGB control button on the case is functioning.
  • Loose Components: Verify all screws for the motherboard, GPU, and drives are tightened securely.
