1. Introduction

The DENSO i-Safe Simple4 DC-DR651 is a high-performance dash camera system designed to record driving footage from both the front and rear of your vehicle. 2. Safety Information

• Do not operate the device while driving. Adjust settings or review footage only when the vehicle is safely parked.

3.1. Front Camera Installation

Mount the front camera to the windshield using the adhesive mount. Choose a location that provides a clear view of the road ahead and does not obstruct the driver's line of sight. Ensure the camera lens is centered and level.

3.2. Rear Camera Installation

Install the rear camera on the rear window, ensuring a clear view of the road behind. Use the adhesive mount for secure attachment. Route the communication cable from the rear camera to the main unit.

3.3. Wiring and Power Connection

Connect the power cable to the main unit and route it to your vehicle's power outlet (e.g., cigarette lighter socket). Connect the included 5m camera communication cable from the rear camera to the main unit. An optional extension cable can extend the rear camera cable by an additional 3m, for a total of 8m.

3.4. SD Card Insertion

Insert the provided 16GB Class 10 microSDHC card into the designated slot on the main unit. Ensure it is inserted correctly until it clicks into place. The device supports microSDHC cards from 8GB to 32GB, with Class 10 recommended.

4.1. Basic Recording

Once powered on, the dash camera automatically begins continuous recording from both front and rear cameras. The recording status is indicated on the 2.7-inch LCD screen.

4.2. Parking Surveillance Function

This function continues recording even when the vehicle's engine is off. If an impact is detected while parked, the system automatically records footage from both front and rear cameras to capture the event.

4.3. Safety Driving Support Functions

The DC-DR651 includes four safety driving support features:

• Forward Vehicle Proximity Alert: Notifies the driver if the vehicle is too close to the car ahead.
• Drive Support: Provides general driving assistance.
• Lane Departure Warning: Alerts the driver if the vehicle drifts out of its lane.
• Vehicle Speed Alarm: Warns the driver if a preset speed limit is exceeded.
