7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
To maintain the matte black finish and prevent water spots:
- Clean the faucet regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth after cleaning.

7.2 Aerator Maintenance
If water flow decreases or becomes irregular, the aerator may be clogged:
- Unscrew the aerator from the tip of the spout.
- Rinse the aerator components under running water to remove any debris or mineral buildup.
- For stubborn buildup, soak the aerator in a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water.
- Reassemble the aerator and screw it back onto the spout.

8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Faucet leaks from base or connections | Loose connections; damaged O-rings/washers | Check and tighten all connections. Replace O-rings or washers if damaged. Ensure plumber's tape was used on threaded connections. |
| Low water flow | Clogged aerator; partially closed shut-off valves; debris in water lines | Clean the aerator (see Maintenance section). Ensure hot and cold shut-off valves are fully open. Flush water lines before connecting to faucet. |
| Water temperature not mixing properly | Debris in cartridge; incorrect installation of hot/cold lines | Ensure hot and cold supply lines are connected to the correct inlets. If issue persists, the ceramic cartridge may need inspection or replacement. |
| Handles are stiff or difficult to turn | Mineral buildup around cartridge; worn cartridge | Remove handles and clean around the cartridge. If necessary, replace the ceramic cartridge. |
