Maintenance
Cleaning the Unit:
- Wipe the exterior of the turntable and speakers with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
- Keep the dust cover closed when not in use to prevent dust accumulation on the platter and stylus.
Stylus Care:
- The stylus is delicate. Handle it with care.
- Clean the stylus periodically using a soft brush, brushing gently from back to front.
- A worn stylus can damage records and produce poor sound quality. Replace the stylus after approximately 200-300 hours of play, or if you notice a degradation in sound.
Record Care:
- Always handle records by their edges to avoid touching the grooves.
- Store records in their sleeves in a cool, dry place.
- Clean records regularly with a dedicated record cleaning brush or solution to remove dust and static.
