5. Setup

  1. Connect Antennas: Screw the two antennas onto the connectors at the rear of the ACT-311 receiver.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC input on the receiver and plug it into a power outlet.
  3. Audio Output: Connect the receiver's XLR or 1/4" output to your mixer, amplifier, or audio interface using the appropriate audio cable.
  4. Install Batteries (Microphone): Unscrew the bottom cap of the ACT-311H microphone. Insert two fresh AA batteries, observing polarity (+/-). Screw the cap back on.
  5. Power On: Press the power button on the receiver. The LCD display will illuminate.
  6. Frequency Synchronization (ACT Sync):
    • On the receiver, select your desired channel/frequency using the UP/DOWN buttons.
    • Press the ACT button on the receiver. The ACT indicator will flash.
    • Align the ACT sync window on the microphone with the ACT sync port on the receiver (usually near the ACT button). Hold them close until the microphone's display shows the synchronized channel/frequency.

The output volume of the receiver can be adjusted via your connected mixer or amplifier. The microphone itself does not have a volume control.

If you experience interference, you may need to change the operating channel. Use the UP/DOWN buttons on the receiver to select a new channel, then perform the ACT sync process again with the microphone.
