Maintenance

Battery Replacement:

If the remote control's performance degrades or it stops responding, replace both AAA batteries with new ones. Always replace both batteries at the same time and ensure they are of the same type (alkaline recommended).

Cleaning:

To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

Storage:

When not in use for extended periods, it is advisable to remove the batteries to prevent leakage, which can damage the remote control.

Troubleshooting

  • Remote not responding:
    • Ensure the batteries are correctly installed with the correct polarity (+/-).
    • Replace old batteries with new AAA alkaline batteries.
    • Check for any obstructions between the remote control and the TV's infrared sensor.
    • Point the remote directly at the TV's sensor.
  • Some buttons not working:
    • This may indicate low battery power. Replace the batteries.
    • Ensure the remote is clean and there is no debris obstructing the buttons.
  • Remote range is reduced:
    • Replace the batteries.
    • Ensure there are no strong light sources (like direct sunlight or fluorescent lights) interfering with the infrared signal.
