Setup

1. Charging the Mouse

  1. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the charging port on the front of the mouse.
  2. Connect the standard USB end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer or a USB wall adapter.
  3. The charging indicator light (if present) will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.

2. Connecting the USB Receiver

  1. Locate the Pico USB receiver, which is typically stored inside or alongside the mouse for transport.
  2. Insert the Pico USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. This may take a few moments.

BlueEye Technology

The Genius ECO-8015 features BlueEye technology, allowing it to track accurately on virtually any surface, including glass, marble, and carpet. For optimal performance, avoid highly reflective or transparent surfaces if possible, though the BlueEye sensor is designed to minimize issues on such surfaces.

DPI Adjustment (if applicable)

The mouse operates at a fixed resolution of 1600 DPI. This provides a balance of speed and precision for most common tasks. There is no physical button for DPI adjustment on this model.

Smart Genius Software (Optional)

For advanced customization and to unlock additional features, you may download and install the Smart Genius software from the official Genius website. This software allows for button remapping and other personalized settings.
