3. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack the Keyboard: Carefully remove the keyboard from its packaging.
  2. Connect to Computer: Plug the USB cable of the keyboard into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Driver Installation: The keyboard is plug-and-play. No additional drivers are required for basic functionality. Your operating system will automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
  4. Adjust Keyboard Angle: Utilize the foldable feet on the underside of the keyboard to adjust the typing angle for ergonomic comfort.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Basic Key Functions

The havit HV-KB432L features a standard 105-key QWERTZ layout. All keys support anti-ghosting for precise input during fast typing or gaming.

4.2. Multimedia Shortcut Keys

Access multimedia functions by pressing the Fn key in combination with the F1-F12 keys.

Note: Multimedia shortcuts may not be fully functional on MAC / Linux operating systems.

4.3. LED Lighting Modes

The keyboard features 21 preset LED lighting modes. You can adjust brightness and speed.

4.4. Custom Backlight Modes Recording

The keyboard allows recording of 3 custom backlight modes.

  1. Press Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 to select a custom mode slot.
  2. Press Fn + Esc to enter recording mode. The indicator lights will flash.
  3. Press the keys you wish to illuminate. Each press will toggle the key's backlight.
  4. Press Fn + Esc again to save the custom mode.

Multimedia keys not functioning on Mac/Linux

This is expected behavior. Multimedia shortcuts are primarily designed for Windows operating systems and may have limited or no functionality on Mac or Linux.
