4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Tank Battery: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the tank. Open the compartment cover, connect the tank's rechargeable battery pack, and secure it. Close the cover.
- Remote Controller Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller. Insert the required batteries (typically AA, not always included) according to the polarity markings. Close the cover.
4.2 Charging the Tank Battery
Connect the tank's rechargeable battery pack to the provided USB charger. Plug the charger into a suitable USB power source. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged). Do not overcharge the battery.
4.3 Adding Smoke Liquid
If your model includes the smoke function and smoke liquid:
- Locate the smoke generator's filler cap on the tank's engine deck (refer to Figure 2.1).
- Carefully open the cap.
- Using the provided dropper, add only one drop of smoke liquid into the smoke generator. Overfilling can cause damage.
