  3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, heat-resistant surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the appliance (at least 10 cm clearance on all sides).
  4. Initial Run (Burn-in):
    • Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.
    • Pull out the frying basket.
    • Set the temperature knob to 200°C and the timer knob to 10 minutes.
    • The appliance will start heating. A slight odor or smoke may be present during the first use; this is normal and will dissipate.
    • After 10 minutes, the timer will ring, and the appliance will turn off. Allow it to cool completely before proceeding.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for cooking with your Mayer MMAF68 Air Fryer:

  1. Preparation: Place the air fryer on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
  2. Preheating (Optional): For best results, preheat the air fryer for 3-5 minutes at the desired cooking temperature. Turn the temperature knob to the desired setting and the timer knob to 3-5 minutes.
  3. Load Food: Carefully pull out the frying basket using the handle. Place your ingredients into the basket. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking.
  4. Insert Basket: Slide the frying basket back into the air fryer until it clicks securely into place.
  5. Set Temperature: Turn the temperature control knob to the required temperature (up to 200°C).
  6. Set Timer: Turn the timer knob to the desired cooking time (up to 30 minutes). The air fryer will start operating.
  7. Shaking/Tossing (Mid-Cycle): For some foods, especially smaller items like fries, it is recommended to shake or toss the ingredients halfway through the cooking time. To do this, carefully pull out the basket, shake it, and then slide it back in. The air fryer will resume cooking.
  8. Completion: When the set cooking time has elapsed, the timer will ring, and the air fryer will automatically turn off.
  9. Remove Food: Carefully pull out the frying basket. Use heat-resistant tongs to remove the cooked food from the basket.
  10. Cool Down: Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning or storing.

Note: The air fryer features a 30-minute timer and 200-degree Temperature Control. The appliance operates at 1400 watts.

    • For stubborn food residues, soak the basket in hot water with dish soap for about 10 minutes before cleaning.
    • Do not use metal utensils or abrasive cleaning materials, as these can damage the non-stick coating.
