The Lepow portable monitor comes with a pre-applied screen protector from the factory. No additional screen protector is provided or needed. If you wish to replace it, follow these general steps:
- Clean the screen thoroughly with the provided wipes (wipe 1 for wet cleaning, wipe 2 for drying).
- Use a dust absorber sticker to remove any remaining dust particles.
- Carefully align the new screen protector with the edge of the monitor and slowly apply it, smoothing out any bubbles.
4.2 Using the Smart Cover as a Stand
The smart cover is designed to function as a protective case and a stable stand. Simply bend the cover to magnetically attach it to the back of the monitor, creating a triangular support. The cover allows for multiple viewing angles by adjusting its folds.
5. Connection
The Lepow portable monitor offers flexible connectivity options. Ensure the monitor is powered on before connecting to your device.
5.1 Connecting to a Laptop/PC
Using USB-C: If your laptop/PC has a full-featured USB-C 3.1 port (which supports both video and power), connect the monitor using the provided Type-C to Type-C cable. This single cable can provide both power and video signal.
Using HDMI: Connect the provided HDMI to Mini HDMI cable from your laptop/PC's HDMI port to the monitor's Mini HDMI port. When using HDMI, an external power supply (5V/3A or above) is required for the monitor. Connect the USB-A to Type-C power supply cable from a power source (e.g., wall charger, laptop USB-A port) to the monitor's power-only Type-C port.
5.2 Connecting to a Smartphone
Only phones with a fully functional USB-C 3.1 port can directly connect to the monitor using the Type-C to Type-C cable for both video and power. For iPhones, a Lightning to HDMI adapter is required, along with an external power supply for the monitor.
5.3 Connecting to Gaming Consoles
Connect gaming consoles (PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch) using the HDMI to Mini HDMI cable. An external power supply is required for the monitor when using HDMI with gaming consoles.

6.1 Display Modes (Extend, Duplicate, Second Screen Only)
