Setup Guide

- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the surface where you intend to install the strip lights is clean, dry, and smooth. Wipe it thoroughly to remove any dust or debris.
- Apply the Strip: Peel off the backing from the 3M adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip. Carefully press the strip onto the desired surface, applying firm and even pressure along its entire length.
- Cut to Length (Optional): If the strip is too long for your application, you can cut it at designated cutting marks (usually indicated by a copper line and a scissor icon). Do not cut at any other point, as this may damage the strip.
- Secure with Clips: For added security, especially on textured surfaces or in areas where the adhesive might weaken over time, use the provided fixing clips. Space them evenly along the strip and secure them with small screws or appropriate fasteners.
- Connect Power: Connect the LED strip to the IR receiver, and then connect the IR receiver to the 12V power adapter. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions
Your Lepro RGB LED Strip Lights are controlled by the included 44-key IR remote. Ensure the remote is pointed directly at the IR receiver connected to the LED strip for optimal performance.

Remote Control Functions:
- Power On/Off: Use the red and green buttons at the top right to turn the lights on or off.
- Brightness Adjustment: The two arrow buttons (up/down) below the power buttons control the brightness (5 levels available).
- Static Colors: Select from 20 static colors using the color grid buttons.
- DIY Colors: Use the DIY1-DIY6 buttons to create and save your custom colors. Press a DIY button, then use the R/G/B up/down arrows to adjust the color, and press the DIY button again to save.
- Dynamic Modes: Choose from 8 dynamic modes (e.g., Flash, Strobe, Fade, Smooth) using the buttons on the bottom right.
- Speed Adjustment: For dynamic modes, use the 'QUICK' and 'SLOW' buttons to adjust the transition speed (5 levels available).
Maintenance and Care

- Cleaning: Gently wipe the LED strip with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Water Resistance: This product is not water resistant. Avoid exposing the LED strip, power adapter, or remote control to water or high humidity. Install only in indoor, dry environments.
- Handling: Do not bend the LED strip sharply or apply excessive force, as this can damage the internal circuitry.
- Power Supply: Always use the original power adapter provided with the kit. Using an incompatible power supply may damage the lights or pose a safety risk.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your LED strip lights, refer to the following common solutions:
- Lights Not Turning On:
- Check all connections to ensure they are secure between the LED strip, IR receiver, and power adapter.
- Verify that the power adapter is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet.
- Ensure the remote control has working batteries and is pointed directly at the IR receiver.
- Important Tip: If the lights are not working or not displaying colors correctly, ensure the 4-pin connector from the LED strip is inserted correctly into the IR receiver. Sometimes, the pins may be inserted backward. If this is the case, try unplugging and re-inserting the connector in the opposite orientation. After re-inserting, press the 'Blue' color button, then the 'Power' button, and then the 'Fade 7' button on the remote repeatedly until the lights function correctly.
- Remote Not Responding:
- Replace the battery in the remote control.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the IR receiver.
- Colors Not Matching Remote:
- This can often be resolved by re-calibrating the remote. Try the 'Important Tip' mentioned above (Blue button, Power button, Fade 7 repeatedly).
