1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using this dehumidifier. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Always place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface.
• Ensure the power cord is not damaged and is properly plugged into a suitable electrical outlet.
• Do not block the air inlet or outlet. Maintain at least 10 cm (4 inches) clearance around the unit.
• Do not immerse the unit, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
• Unplug the dehumidifier before cleaning, maintenance, or when not in use.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Do not use the appliance in areas where flammable liquids or gases are stored.
• Operate the unit within the specified temperature and humidity range.

2. Product Overview

The hysure 1500ml Electric Dehumidifier is designed to remove excess moisture from small areas, improving air quality and preventing issues like mold and mildew. It utilizes Peltier (thermoelectric) technology for quiet operation.

3. Setup

1. Unpack the Dehumidifier: Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Choose a Suitable Location: Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface in the desired area. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space around the air inlet (rear) and outlet (front) for proper airflow. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
3. Check Water Tank: Ensure the water tank is correctly inserted and empty before initial use.
4. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the dehumidifier's power port, then plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet (AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz).

The dehumidifier is now ready for operation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

1. To turn on the dehumidifier, press the power button located on the top of the unit. The indicator light will illuminate, typically green, indicating the unit is working.
2. To turn off the dehumidifier, press the power button again. The indicator light will turn off.

4.2 Automatic Shut-off

The dehumidifier is equipped with an automatic shut-off function. When the 1500ml water tank is full, the unit will automatically stop operating, and the indicator light will change to yellow (or amber) to signal that the tank needs to be emptied.

4.3 Emptying the Water Tank

1. Before emptying, ensure the dehumidifier is turned off and unplugged from the power outlet.
2. Gently pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
3. Carefully remove the rubber plug from the tank and pour out the collected water.
4. Replace the rubber plug securely and slide the empty water tank back into the dehumidifier until it clicks into place.
5. Plug the unit back in and press the power button to resume operation.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

5.1 Cleaning the Exterior

• Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the surface.

5.2 Cleaning the Water Tank

• Remove the water tank as described in Section 4.3.
• Rinse the tank with clean water. If there is any residue or odor, a mild detergent can be used, followed by thorough rinsing.
• Ensure the tank is completely dry before reinserting it into the unit.

5.3 Cleaning Air Inlets and Outlets

• Periodically check the air inlet (at the back) and air outlet (at the front) for dust or debris accumulation.
• Use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove any blockages.
• Do not insert any objects into the air vents.
