Powering the Device

The GPX PCB319B can be powered by batteries or an external power adapter.

Battery Power

  • Open the battery compartment located on the bottom of the player.
  • Insert 2 AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  • Close the battery compartment securely.

AC/DC Power Adapter (Not Included)

  • Connect a compatible AC/DC power adapter (not included) to the DC power input jack on the side of the player.
  • Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.

The unit can also be powered by a 12V car power adapter (not included).

Loading and Playing CDs

  1. Open the CD Compartment: Gently press the "OPEN" button or slide the latch to open the CD compartment lid.

  3. Insert a CD: Place a CD, CD-R/RW, or MP3 CD onto the center spindle with the label side facing up. Gently press down on the center of the disc until it clicks into place.
  4. Close the Lid: Close the CD compartment lid firmly until it latches.
  5. Connect Earbuds (Optional): If using wired earbuds, plug the included stereo earbuds into the headphone jack.

  7. Power On: Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to turn on the player and begin playback.
  8. Adjust Volume: Use the volume control dial on the side of the player to adjust the listening volume.
  9. Control Playback: Use the SKIP buttons to navigate between tracks, and the STOP/OFF button to stop playback or turn off the device.

Bluetooth Connection

The GPX PCB319B features a built-in Bluetooth transmitter, allowing you to wirelessly stream audio to compatible Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

  1. Power On: Ensure the CD player is powered on and a CD is playing.
  2. Activate Bluetooth Pairing: The player will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode when powered on. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on Receiving Device: Turn on your Bluetooth headphones or speaker and put them into pairing mode. Refer to your receiving device's manual for specific instructions.
  4. Connect: The CD player will automatically search for and connect to the nearest available Bluetooth device. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light will become solid.

  6. Enjoy Wireless Audio: Audio from the CD player will now be streamed wirelessly to your connected Bluetooth device.

Anti-Skip Protection

The GPX PCB319B is equipped with electronic skip protection to minimize audio interruptions during movement.

  • Standard CDs: Provides up to 40 seconds of anti-skip protection.
  • MP3 CDs: Provides up to 100 seconds of anti-skip protection.

This feature buffers audio data, allowing the player to continue playback smoothly even if the disc experiences minor bumps or vibrations. Severe shocks may still cause skipping.

Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will extend the life of your CD player.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the player. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
