Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Fenix E30R flashlight.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the threads and O-rings with a clean cloth. Lubricate the O-rings with silicone grease to maintain water resistance.
- Battery Care: Remove the battery if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage. Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
- Contact Points: Clean the electrical contact points of the flashlight and battery regularly to ensure proper operation.

Troubleshooting
If your Fenix E30R flashlight is not functioning correctly, consider the following:
- Light Not Turning On: Check if the battery is inserted correctly with the positive terminal facing the head. Ensure the tail cap is fully tightened. The flashlight might be in lock mode; double-click the side switch to unlock.
- Dim Output or Flashing: The battery level may be low. Recharge the battery fully. Clean the battery contact points and the flashlight's internal contacts.
- Light Gets Warm on High/Turbo Mode: This is normal for high-output flashlights. The E30R has intelligent overheat protection that will automatically downshift the brightness level to prevent overheating. This is a safety feature and not a malfunction.
- Magnetic Charging Not Working: Ensure the magnetic cable is securely attached and the USB power source is active. Clean the magnetic charging port on the flashlight and the cable contacts.
