4. Setup and Installation

This dishwasher is designed for built-in, top-mount installation. Top-mounting brackets are included. Side mounting brackets are NOT included. Professional installation by a qualified plumber and/or electrician is recommended.

Water Connection:

Connect the dishwasher to the HOT WATER supply for optimal cleaning performance. Connecting to a cold water supply may result in dishes not getting hot enough for proper cleaning and drying, and can extend cycle times significantly as the unit will need to heat the water itself.

Leveling:

Ensure the dishwasher is perfectly level during installation to prevent issues such as leaks and improper door closure. Adjust the leveling feet as necessary.

5. Operating Instructions

Loading the Dishwasher:

Proper loading is crucial for effective cleaning. Ensure dishes do not block the spray arms. The dishwasher includes two racks and a silverware basket. The upper rack is ideal for glasses, cups, and smaller bowls, while the lower rack accommodates plates, larger bowls, and pots.

Detergent and Rinse Aid:

Fill the detergent dispenser with the appropriate amount of dishwasher detergent. Ensure the rinse aid dispenser is filled to prevent water spots and improve drying performance. The Rinse Aid Warning Indicator will alert you when a refill is needed.

Wash Programs:

• Normal: For regularly soiled dishes.
• Heavy: For heavily soiled pots, pans, and dishes.
• Energy: An energy-saving cycle for lightly soiled dishes.

Options:

• Heated Dry: Activates the heating element during the drying cycle for more effective drying.

• High Temp: Increases water temperature during the main wash.
• Delay Start: Allows you to program the dishwasher to start at a later time (1-24 hours).
• Control Lock: Press and hold for 3 seconds to lock the control panel and prevent accidental operation.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your dishwasher.

• Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. For stainless steel surfaces, use a stainless steel cleaner.
