Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
  2. Insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. App Download and Installation

The EMAY Sleep Oxygen Monitor requires the companion app for data review and analysis. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices.

Operating Instructions

1. Wearing the Device

  1. Ensure your finger is clean and dry.
  2. Gently open the clamp of the monitor.
  3. Insert one of your fingers (preferably the index or middle finger) into the device, ensuring it is fully inserted and rests comfortably on the sensor.
  4. Release the clamp. The device will automatically turn on and begin measuring.

2. Continuous Recording and Data Storage

The EMO-80 is a stand-alone device that records oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate (PRbpm) continuously, every second, throughout the night. It does not require a smartphone to be connected during the recording period. The device has an internal memory capable of storing up to 40 hours of data.

3. Syncing Data to the EMAY App

  1. After your recording session, open the EMAY app on your smartphone.
  2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the EMO-80 device is nearby.
  3. Follow the in-app instructions to connect to your device and download the recorded data.

4. Reviewing and Analyzing Data

The EMAY app provides detailed graphs and reports of your SpO2 and pulse rate data. You can review the data second by second, or view summary reports for an overview of your trends.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Device

Clean the device surface with a soft cloth dampened with medical alcohol (75% ethanol or isopropanol). Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water. Ensure the device is completely dry before storage or next use.
