3. Setup and Installation

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Accessing with a PIN Code

  1. Ensure the keypad is illuminated. If not, press any key to activate it.
  2. Enter your 4-6 digit user PIN code.
  3. Press the # key to confirm.
  4. If the code is correct, the lock will disengage for a preset duration, indicated by an audible signal or LED indicator.

4.2 Accessing with an RFID Card or Key Fob

  1. Hold your registered RFID card or key fob close to the reader area on the device.

5. Programming

The Orno ZS-802 requires programming to set up master codes, user codes, and to register RFID cards/fobs. Always perform programming steps carefully.

5.1 Entering Programming Mode

  1. Press *.
  2. Enter the current Master Code (default is typically 123456 or similar, refer to the full manual for the exact default).
  3. Press #. The device will indicate entry into programming mode (e.g., a specific LED color or sound).

5.2 Changing the Master Code

  1. Enter Programming Mode.
  2. Press 0 (or the designated key for Master Code change).
  3. Enter the new 6-digit Master Code.
  4. Press # to confirm.
  5. Re-enter the new Master Code and press # again to verify.
  6. Exit Programming Mode (usually by pressing * or waiting for timeout).

5.3 Adding a User PIN Code

  1. Enter Programming Mode.
  2. Press 1 (or the designated key for adding user codes).
  3. Enter a unique User ID (e.g., 001-999).
  4. Press #.
  5. Enter the new 4-6 digit User PIN Code.
  6. Press # to confirm.
  7. Repeat for additional user codes or exit Programming Mode.

5.4 Adding an RFID Card/Key Fob

  1. Enter Programming Mode.
  2. Press 2 (or the designated key for adding cards).
  3. Present the RFID card or key fob to the reader. The device will register it.
  4. Repeat for additional cards/fobs or exit Programming Mode.

5.5 Deleting User PIN Codes or RFID Cards/Fobs
