2. Safety Information
- Read all instructions carefully before installation and use.
- Do not use corrosive cleaners or lubricants on the lock components.
- Ensure correct battery polarity during installation. Replace all four AA batteries simultaneously when needed.

4. Installation Guide
4.1 Pre-Installation Checks
- Door Thickness: Compatible with doors 1 3/8 inches to 2 3/16 inches (35mm-55mm) thick.
- Borehole Diameter: Ensure existing boreholes are suitable, or use the provided template for new installations.
- Tools Needed: A Phillips head screwdriver is required (not included). A power drill can expedite the process.
4.2 Reversible Handle Direction
The handle is reversible to accommodate both left and right-handed door openings. Adjust the handle direction before final installation if necessary, following the instructions in the detailed manual.

4.3 Step-by-Step Installation
- Remove Existing Hardware: Unscrew and remove your current door handle and latch bolt.
- Install Latch Bolt: Insert the new latch bolt into the door edge and secure it with screws. Ensure the latch is oriented correctly for your door's swing.
- Install Exterior Assembly: Feed the data cable and spindle through the door's cross bore. Position the exterior handle assembly flush against the door.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the interior side of the door, aligning it with the exterior assembly. Ensure the data cable passes through the plate.
- Connect Cables: Connect the data cable from the exterior assembly to the interior assembly.
- Install Interior Assembly: Attach the interior handle assembly to the mounting plate, securing it with the provided screws.
- Install Batteries: Open the battery cover on the interior assembly. Insert 4 AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery cover.
- Test Operation: After installation, test the handle movement and latch operation from both sides of the door.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Mobile App Setup (TTLock App)
- Download App: Search for "TTLock" in your smartphone's app store and download it.
- Register & Login: Create an account and log in.
- Add Lock: Follow the in-app instructions to pair your lock via Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and you are near the lock.
- Calibrate Lock: The app will guide you through calibrating the lock for proper operation.

5.2 Unlocking Methods
- Fingerprint: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock if the fingerprint is recognized.
- Passcode: Enter your 4-10 digit passcode on the keypad, followed by the '#' key.
- IC Card: Tap a registered IC card against the keypad area to unlock.
- Mobile App: Open the TTLock app and tap the unlock icon when within Bluetooth range.
- Physical Key: Use one of the backup keys in the hidden keyhole (located under the handle cover) for manual unlocking.

5.3 Managing Users (App)
Through the TTLock app, you can:
- Add Fingerprints: Register new fingerprints for authorized users.
- Generate Passcodes: Create permanent, timed, one-time, or custom passcodes for guests or service providers.
- Add IC Cards: Register new IC cards for access.
- Authorize Admin: Grant administrative privileges to other users.

To enable remote unlocking and advanced features, pair your HARFO A01 Smart Door Lock with a HARFO Wi-Fi Gateway (sold separately).

5.5 Security Functions
- Auto-Lock: The lock can be set to automatically lock after a specified period.
- Anti-peep Passcode: Enter random digits before or after your actual passcode to prevent others from guessing your code.
- Private Mode: Activate Private Mode from the interior to prevent external unlocking methods (except physical key) for enhanced privacy.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Replacement
The lock requires 4 AA batteries. When the battery level is low, the lock will provide an audible warning. Replace all four batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. The battery compartment is located on the interior handle assembly.

6.2 Emergency Power
In case of complete battery depletion, the lock features an emergency USB power port. Connect a power bank to this port to temporarily power the lock and gain access.
6.3 Cleaning
Wipe the lock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish and electronic components.
7. Troubleshooting
- Lock not responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Use the emergency USB power port.
- Fingerprint not recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Re-register your fingerprint if issues persist.
- Passcode not working: Verify the correct passcode is entered. Check if Anti-peep Passcode is being used correctly.
- App connectivity issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled and you are within range. Restart the app or your phone. Check if the optional Wi-Fi Gateway is properly connected.
- Lock not auto-locking: Verify auto-lock settings in the mobile app.
