The SENCOR SWS 4250 Weather Station features a color LCD display for clear visibility of weather forecasts, indoor/outdoor temperature, humidity, time, and date. It supports up to three wireless outdoor sensors, with one included.

5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation

  1. Main Unit: Open the battery compartment on the back. Insert 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
  2. Outdoor Sensor: Open the battery compartment. Insert 2 x 1.5V AA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.

5.2. Powering the Main Unit

Connect the provided DC 4.5V/150mA power adapter to the main unit's power input and then plug it into a wall outlet. The display will illuminate.

5.3. Sensor Placement and Synchronization

Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location away from direct sunlight and rain, ensuring it is within 30 meters (open area) of the main unit. The main unit will automatically attempt to synchronize with the sensor. This may take a few minutes. Once connected, the outdoor temperature and humidity will appear on the display.

The weather station automatically receives the DCF77 radio signal for accurate time and date synchronization. If the signal is not available or you prefer manual setting:

7.1. Cleaning

Wipe the main unit and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the display or casing.

7.2. Battery Replacement

Replace batteries in both the main unit and the sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries in a set with new ones of the same type.

7.3. Storage

If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage and store the unit in a cool, dry place.
