RiToEasysports WTB-004 Sustain Pedal Instruction Manual

Model: WTB-004

Introduction

Thank you for choosing the RiToEasysports WTB-004 Sustain Pedal. This pedal is designed to provide a natural sustain effect for electronic keyboards and digital pianos, enhancing your musical expression. It features universal compatibility and a polarity switch for seamless integration with various instruments.

Product Features

  • Universal Compatibility: Works with most electronic keyboards and digital pianos.
  • Half-Pedaling Capability: Allows for nuanced sustain control, similar to an acoustic piano.
  • Polarity Switch: A small sliding switch allows adjustment of the pedal's polarity to match different instrument requirements.
  • Durable Construction: Made from high-quality plastic and metal for long-lasting performance.
  • Non-Slip Design: Features a textured rubber surface for stability during use.

Setup

  1. Connect the Pedal: Locate the sustain pedal input jack on your electronic keyboard or digital piano. This is typically a 1/4" (6.35mm) mono audio jack. Insert the 1/4" plug of the sustain pedal cable firmly into this jack.

  3. Adjust Polarity (if necessary): Some keyboards require a specific pedal polarity. If the sustain effect is inverted (e.g., notes sustain when the pedal is up and stop when pressed), locate the small sliding switch on the side of the pedal. Slide this switch to the opposite position to correct the polarity.

  • Full Sustain: Press the pedal fully down to achieve maximum sustain.
  • Half-Pedaling: Partially press the pedal to achieve a moderate sustain effect. The degree of sustain will vary depending on your keyboard's capabilities and how far the pedal is pressed.
  • Release: Lift your foot completely off the pedal to end the sustain effect.
