5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Opening and Closing the Top Case

1. To Open: Insert the key into the lock cylinder and turn it to the "OPEN" position. Press the release button located near the lock to unlatch the lid. Lift the lid upwards.
2. To Close: Lower the lid until it clicks firmly into place. Turn the key to the "LOCK" position to secure the lid. The case can be closed without the key, but it must be locked with the key for security.

The SH58X features a unique three-position adjustable volume system:
