Setup

Battery Installation

The JARDLITE L1000 flashlight can be powered by either one 18650 Lithium-ion battery or three AAA batteries. Batteries are not included.

  1. Unscrew the Tail Cap: Rotate the tail cap counter-clockwise to remove it from the flashlight body.
  2. Insert Batteries:
    • For 18650 Battery: Insert one 18650 Lithium-ion battery into the provided rechargeable battery tube with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
    • For AAA Batteries: Place three AAA batteries into the provided AAA battery holder, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated on the holder. Then insert the holder into the flashlight body with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
  3. Secure the Tail Cap: Screw the tail cap back onto the flashlight body clockwise until it is firmly tightened. This ensures proper electrical contact and water resistance.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • To turn the flashlight ON, press the power button located on the tail cap until it clicks.
  • To turn the flashlight OFF, press the power button again until it clicks.

Mode Selection

The JARDLITE L1000 features five lighting modes: High, Medium, Low, Strobe, and SOS.

  • With the flashlight ON, gently press the power button (half-press, without clicking) to cycle through the modes.
  • The sequence is typically: High → Medium → Low → Strobe → SOS.
  • To select a mode, release the button when the desired mode is active.

Focus Adjustment (Zoom Function)

The flashlight features an adjustable focus mechanism to change the beam type.

  • To achieve a spotlight beam for long-distance illumination, pull the head of the flashlight outwards.
  • To achieve a floodlight beam for wide-area illumination, push the head of the flashlight inwards.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Wipe the flashlight body with a clean, soft cloth.
  • For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Keep the lens clean for optimal light output. Use a lens cleaning cloth if necessary.

Battery Care

  • Remove batteries if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
  • Replace all AAA batteries simultaneously. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.

Troubleshooting
