4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation. Ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker before proceeding.

1. Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the light fixture location and turn it OFF. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
2. Cut Hole in Ceiling: Using the provided template (if applicable) or the fixture's dimensions, cut a 4.25-inch (approximately) diameter hole in the ceiling drywall. Ensure there are no obstructions (joists, pipes, wires) in the ceiling space.
3. Open Junction Box: Open the cover of the provided junction box. Remove the appropriate knockout(s) for your electrical wiring.
4. Connect Wiring: Insert the electrical supply cable into the junction box through the knockout. Secure the cable with a cable connector. Connect the house wiring to the fixture's junction box wires:
   • Connect the black wire (Live) from the house to the black wire of the junction box.
   • Connect the white wire (Neutral) from the house to the white wire of the junction box.
   • Connect the green or bare copper wire (Ground) from the house to the green wire of the junction box.
   Secure connections with wire nuts and ensure no bare wire is exposed.
5. Close Junction Box: Close the junction box cover and secure it.
6. Place Junction Box: Place the junction box through the cut-out hole into the ceiling space.
7. Connect Fixture to Junction Box: Connect the male/female connectors from the LED fixture to the junction box. Ensure a secure connection.
8. Install Fixture: Push the spring clips on the LED fixture upwards and insert the fixture into the ceiling hole. The spring clips will hold the fixture securely in place against the ceiling.
9. Restore Power: Turn the power back ON at the circuit breaker.
