Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the effectiveness of your in-ground fence system.
Transmitter Placement
Place the Fence Transmitter in a dry, well-ventilated, protected area. It should be out of the weather and away from potential hazards. Common locations include a garage, basement, or utility room. Ensure it is close to a power outlet and where the boundary wire can easily exit to the perimeter.
Wire Installation
The boundary wire must form a continuous loop around your desired containment area. The included 1000 ft. of wire covers approximately 1 1/3 acres. For larger properties, the system can be expanded up to 100 acres with additional wire (sold separately).
- Layout Planning: Plan your desired boundary layout. Common layouts include simple perimeter, double loop for lake access, or protecting specific areas like pools or gardens.
- Wire Placement: The wire can be buried a few inches deep, stapled to an existing fence, or laid on the ground temporarily for testing. Ensure the wire is not cut or broken during installation.
- Connecting to Transmitter: Connect both ends of the boundary wire loop to the designated terminals on the Fence Transmitter.

The system can contain areas up to 100 acres with additional wire.

Wire Splicing
If you need to extend or repair your boundary wire, use the provided wire nuts to ensure a secure and waterproof connection. Twist the wire ends together and cap them with the wire nut to maintain signal integrity.

Training Your Dog
Effective training is key to your dog's success with the in-ground fence system. Use the included training flags to visually mark the boundary during the initial training phase.
- Introduction: Begin by introducing your dog to the boundary flags and the warning tone/vibration.
- Correction: If your dog crosses the warning zone, the collar will deliver a static stimulation. Immediately guide your dog back into the safe zone.
- Consistency: Consistent training sessions are vital. Always end on a positive note.
- Multiple Dogs: The system can accommodate an unlimited number of dogs with additional collars (sold separately).

The system supports multiple dogs with additional collars and includes a training guide.
Maintenance
- Collar Charging: Recharge the collar receiver regularly. A full charge typically lasts one to two months depending on usage.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the collar receiver and contact points to ensure proper function.
- Wire Inspection: Periodically inspect the boundary wire for any damage or breaks, which could disrupt the signal.
Troubleshooting
- No Signal/Collar Not Activating: Check the Fence Transmitter's power and loop indicator lights. A wire break alarm on the transmitter indicates a break in the boundary wire.
- Collar Not Holding Charge: Ensure the charging cable is properly connected and the collar's charging port is clean.
- Inconsistent Correction: Verify proper collar fit and contact with the dog's skin. Trim hair if necessary. Adjust stimulation level if needed.
